VANDYTHEPINK x Asics Gel-Kayano 12.1 "Antique White"

Following the GEL-NIMBUS 10.1 “Banana Split”, VANDYTHEPINK continues its sweet collaboration with ASICS. This time, the GEL-KAYANO 12.1 serves as the basis for a two-part “Ice Cream Pack”, inspired by vanilla and chocolate ice cream, as well as the childhood memories of VANDYTHEPINK co-founder Vandy Son.

The “Antique White” and “Vanilla” colourways, available worldwide, combine off-white mesh with matching synthetic overlays. Reflective silver details echo the technical running aesthetic of the early 2000s, whilst strawberry pink and light banana yellow provide colourful accents on the upper and sole.

VANDYTHEPINK branding is discreetly featured on the outside of the heel. The tongue tags feature the label’s floral logo and Korean lettering, which allude to Vandy Son’s heritage and the ice lollies sold by street vendors in Korea.

In keeping with the theme, the trainer comes with special packaging, alternative laces and a small silver ice cream scoop as an extra. Despite these playful details, the layered, technical silhouette of the GEL-KAYANO 12.1 remains clearly the centrepiece.

The VANDYTHEPINK x ASICS GEL-KAYANO 12.1 “Antique White” will be released worldwide on 14 August 2026. An earlier drop via VANDYTHEPINK is scheduled for 8 August.
