Major Release with SpongeBob and Timberland in Sight
What's up with SpongeBob? Many of us are already waiting for the SpongeBob x Nike Kyrie collection to come out tomorrow. This quirky character and his friends adorn the Kyrie 5 and Kyrie 2 Low in wacky colourways. But, it seems that more and more shoe manufacturers are starting to design their shoes in this celebrated SpongBob-themed design. Timberland is said to be the second company to release a collab with Nickelodeon.
Timberland has released two pairs of boots with amazingly creative details. One of these pairs is a black Timberland with a black leather upper. The leather tongue has SpongeBob's face and is combined with matching yellow laces. A lace lock reminiscent of his shirt and the iconic red tie plus a plankton running towards a burger complete the design. In addition, there is also a removable rubber key ring that is quite the interesting additon.
The second pair is a light blue Timberland pair, reminding us of SpongeBob going jellyfish hunting. SpongeBob hides behind the blue overlays wearing glasses and holding a net in his hand while looking at the jellyfish flying around the embossed Timberland logo. On the other side of the shoe, we find his best friend Patrick Star running away from the jellyfish. The design is rounded off with an embossed SpongeBob silhouette on the tongue and a blue boot sole. To round off this design, there is a removable "Jelly Glass" key ring and another pair of pink shoelaces that can be used to replace the blue ones.
This huge release is said to come out next month.
