T-Shirts - Basics for Every Day and Every Style

T-shirts are by far the best basics for every day. Besides jeans, hoodies, and other clothes, the short-sleeved and T-shaped pieces belong in every wardrobe. With them, you can easily create the best outfits, whether it’s a casual look for a wild party on Saturday or an elegant style for the evening. Well-known manufacturers and designers create their T-shirts in the most diverse shapes for every occasion. Therefore, there is always a huge selection. We certainly love to wear our T-shirts and make fashion statements whenever we can.

T-shirt, Tees, or Shirts?

Just what exactly is the right name for this piece of clothing? Is it t-shirt, tees, or shirts? We feel as though we’ve already heard every term in every context, but which term is actually correct? Somehow, each one of them is right, because we all seem to understand what they mean. However, some opinions may vary when it comes to how the different “shirt” terms are used. For many fashion enthusiasts, "shirts" are long-sleeved and it is a mortal sin to call a t-shirt a shirt. On the other hand, “tee" is the simple short form and describes the "t" from “t-shirt". Do not confuse it with the tea that you drink, though! We have noticed, however, that the term "tee" has become increasingly common in the world of fashion.
