A new trend seems to be developing at Nike. The soft velvet material is finding more and more use in the sneaker game, and Nike is showing how to do it right. Most recently, leak accounts have revealed a new Air Jordan 11 WMNS "Velvet Midnight Navy" that features a velvet mudguard, and now this Nike Dunk Low "Green Velvet" appears.
The sophisticated arrangement opts for a luxurious construction instead of an ordinary leather one. This clearly sets the Nike Dunk Low "Green Velvet" apart from other Dunks. The side panels, the toebox, as well as the heels and overlays are made of a soft green material.
In other places, Nike then reaches for simple materials, as the tongues are made of hard-wearing nylon. Accents are then set with white Nike branding and laces. Finally, the Nike Dunk Low "Green Velvet" has a two-tone sole made of white midsoles and green outsoles.
