Two New Boots from Danner to Celebrate 60 Years of "James Bond"
At the latest since James Bond "No Time to Die" and "Spectre", Danner has been a household name for many fans. The shoe manufacturer outfitted the 007 secret agent in both films, although the company has been around much longer than that. Now, the Portland-based manufacturer is celebrating 60 years of "James Bond" with a very special drop.
To celebrate the James Bond anniversary, Danner is releasing two boots. In keeping with this, the anniversary boots Tanicus and Mountain Light II feature a Bond-approved look. They not only feature subtle 007 branding, but also technical materials. The upper of the James Bond x Danner Tanicus "60th Anniversary" is made of waterproof suede with GORE-TEX lining. The boots are also equipped with a pentagonal Vibram outsole.
Clearly more elegant is the James Bond x Danner Mountain Light II "60th Anniversary". An elegant Horween leather makes up the boots worn by James Bond in Spectre. The interior is lined with waterproof GORE-TEX, and a special ultra-lightweight Vibram Megagrip climbing lift outsole supports the pair.
