Asphaltgold Drops the Nike Air Max 1 "Tour Yellow"

The Beaverton-based sporting goods company has spent most of the year celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Nike Air Force 1. After several special releases, Nike is now returning to the Air Max 1. For the 35th anniversary, a hip colourway in "Photon Dust/Tour Yellow/Wolf Grey/Sail" is released.

In terms of the Nike Air Max 1 "Tour Yellow" design, the upcoming sneaker seems to draw inspiration from an earlier iconic colourway of the Tinker Hatfield-designed sneaker.

A white mesh base forms the foundation for the leather overlays and adjacent "Wolf Grey" overlays, then act as a shade on the light background. But the attention stays on the titular hits, hitting the surrounding mudguard and trademarks.
