The New York label Barriers and Converse are releasing a limited collection tomorrow, July 2nd, 2022. This weekend, you can only buy the sneakers and apparel in one place. We tell you where and when the rest of the world can shop.
The collaboration between the two labels must cause a stir, as it's the first time Converse and Barriers have worked together. Steven Barter is the founder of Barriers and launched the brand in 2015, aiming to honour key moments in black history.
For the first collection, Converse and Barriers have designed a new version of the Converse Chuck 70 and the Pro Leather. The style can be refined with matching apparel. This includes a hoodie, t-shirt, and shorts.
First Drop of the Barriers x Converse Collection in New York City
The Barriers x Converse collection drops tomorrow, July 2nd at barriersworldwide.com and in New York City. A bigger release will then follow on July 21st at converse.com and selected retailers.
