With the New Air Jordan 1 Mid, Jordan Brand Explains the "Bred" Name to Us

Official images have confirmed the Air Jordan 1 Mid "Bred" in GS sizes. Unfortunately, the higher version has not been spotted yet. But we can expect a drop very soon. We'll let you know if more updates will come. Assume a drop on May 11th.

Since its introduction in 1985, the "Bred" colourway has been a staple of the Air Jordan line. Few fans, however, know how the iconic colourway got its name. The title is almost like a formula, which an upcoming Air Jordan 1 Mid will explain to us once again.

This Air Jordan 1 Mid "Bred", which will reportedly only be available in GS sizes, breaks the wall. All elements on the upper will be labelled with the respective shade of "RED" and "BLACK". Unlike previous iterations, the midsoles are also labelled.

The equation "BLACK+RED=BRED" appears on the white midsoles, reminding us of the original naming. Other details, however, remain unchanged. The tongues are black, and the outsoles are surrounded by red.

It's not certain yet, but insiders suspect that the Air Jordan 1 Mid "Bred" will only be available in primary school sizes. More details on this drop will follow in the coming days.
