Two New adidas Forums Are Inspired by Star-Lord from Guardians of the Galaxy

After honouring the Star Wars era with numerous sneakers over several months, adidas is returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and working on some foundational releases. The new project includes a collaboration with Guardians Of the Galaxy, and with main character Peter Quill a.k.a. Star Lord.

The Marvel hero played by Chris Pratt proved himself from a complete nobody to an important part of the universe in the last parts. So, Three Stripes is now honouring the character with two sneakers tailored to him — an adidas Forum Mid and a Forum High. Check out the official images of the sneakers below.

The Marvel x adidas Forum Mid "Guardians of the Galaxy Star Lord" is inspired by the leather jacket. Black and red leather alternate on the upper, and the tongue is covered by a black zip. Next to it is a white and blue Marvel x adidas Forum Hi "Guardians of the Galaxy Star Lord", possibly a nod to Peter Quill's love of '80s music.

So far, adidas has only confirmed the two collaborative "Guardians of the Galaxy Star Lord" Forums for Australia. The sneakers will be released there on November 14th. A worldwide drop is reportedly not planned.
