New adidas Grand Slam Is in the Tennis Colours of the '80s

With Stan Smith, Robert Haillet, Rod Laver, and Ilie Theodoriu Năstase, adidas can look back on a rich tennis history. For several years, the German sportswear label has been releasing hip sneakers for tennis, and now, almost forty years after the debut of the adidas Grand Slam, the silhouette gets the traditional tennis colours. High-quality leather and suede comprise the latest adidas Grand Slam. In addition, the colours and the argyle pattern are convincing enough to make the shoe look as original as it gets. The sides are then emblazoned with "G.S" branding, while trefoils adorn the tongues and adidas lettering the midsoles.

Then underneath, a proprietary Vario Shock Absorption System technology provided cushion. This involves three pins with different densities that the wearer can swap out to adjust the comfort level to their own preference. There are also special hang tags in the shape of burgers and bright laces with playful lace tips.

The adidas Grand Slam will be released on March 1st at selected retailers like 43einhalb for 120€. Mark your calendars there for the drop if you're dying to get the sneakers.
