Nike and sacai Take Their Partnership to the Next Level with Jean Paul Gaultier

Two more sneakers have left the rumour mill in 2022. The sacai x Jean Paul Gaultier x Nike LDVaporWaffle "Black" and "Multicolor" will drop on February 22nd at selected retailers like Dover Street Market. A debut on nike.com may follow soon.

The sneakers from the sacai x Jean Paul Gaultier x Nike VaporWaffle collab were surprisingly available for pre-order on sacai.jeanpaulgaultier.com. Those with pre-orders will still have to wait a long time for the sneakers, however, as the models will not be delivered until September. There's a possible hint at a bigger release for New York Fashion Week. Take a look at the official images from Nike here and don't miss the next wave.

New images of another sacai x Jean Paul Gaultier x Nike sneaker have been spotted on the net. Some colour accents like the open seams and Swooshes have been swapped.

Nike and sacai are collaborating again on a new sneaker, but somehow, that's nothing new, is it? The two labels have been working together for years. But the next collab is something special, as Nike and sacai are designing a new sneaker with the help of fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier.

Rumour has it that we should have seen the collab much earlier, but due to the current pandemic, there were delays. Nevertheless, we do like these sneakers, although they are arriving late.

Nothing is known about this model yet, but it seems to be a much higher sneaker. The collar is high-cut and the upper is made of different materials like leather, nylon, and suede. In between, we see small white details that strongly remind us of a baseball. The shoe also features the double stacked elements that sacai is best known for with double tongues and Nike Swooshes on the sneaker.

More pictures and info on the sacai x Jean Paul Gaultier x Nike sneaker are, unfortunately, still missing, but we assume that the sneakers will be released later this year.
