In the summer of 2021, we learned that Virgil Abloh of Louis Vuitton and Nike had designed a multi-piece capsule. Sadly though, the collection was never released — until now! In fact, an exclusive auction at Sotheby's is set to launch next week. A special version of the Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1 (pictured) will be auctioned off, and it's limited to 200 pairs.

The sneakers are made of premium leather. The side panels, mudguard, and heels consist of brown leather. The toebox and Swooshes, on the other hand, add a bright checkerboard pattern that colour-matches the inscribed "LACET" laces.

In addition, the fashion label's iconic monogram and damier pattern covers the Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1. Those who bid for a pair through Sotheby's will receive the sneakers, along with an orange Louis Vuitton pilot case, which is exclusive to the auction.
