Daily Paper's Spring/Summer 2022 Collection Looks Back to the '70s, '80s, and '90s
In just a few days, Daily Paper is releasing its new Spring/Summer 2022 collection. Several hip pieces celebrate the influence of hip-hop from the 70s, 80s and 90s. We've taken a look at the apparel and the details.
Most of the pieces from the Daily Paper Spring/Summer 2022 collection allude to the Pan-African flag, harnessing the power of hip-hop from years long gone as the role of social change from the Amsterdam-based brand. Co-founder and Design Director Abderrahmane Trabsini had this to say about the upcoming collection:
"Working on this collection was a lot of fun for me, as hip hop has always been and still is a big inspiration for us. The influence of hip hop and its community had a big impact on the creation of Daily Paper. First, by telling stories around street culture on our blog, which later evolved into the fashion brand we are today."
Denim dungarees, monogram sweatsuits, as well as pinstripe suits with a special pattern are just a few pieces from the large Daily Paper SS22 collection. Of course, many pieces are in the signature Daily Paper style. The Shield logo is applied in different shapes and colours.
