G-Dragon's highly anticipated PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Kwondo 1 has now been confirmed. The first edition of the K-Pop star will drop later this year. The sneakers, which feature PEACEMINUSONE's signature daisy logo on the back, will drop on December 3rd via Nike SNKRS and at selected retailers, according to G-Dragon.

In a press release, G-Dragon explains, "I want to feel free with the way I wear and style clothes in addition to everything else I do. I hope people can overcome stereotypes and feel free in their own way when wearing the Kwondo 1."

After the first leaks we already took a look at last week, we now take a look at new images of the PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Kwondo 1. The lifestyle sneaker with the "Triple White" colourway is made entirely of smooth leather and features targeted perforations for a classy look. The release date is unfortunately still unclear, but the sneakers will supposedly be released on January 19th.

Is this the first look? The K-Pop superstar is now sharing pictures of a sneaker on Instagram, and it's raising some question marks to begin with. Since May 2021, it's been suspected that G-Dragon's PEACEMINUSONE would be getting his own model at Nike, and here's what it might look like.

The first Nike Kwondo 1 comes in a "Triple White" colourway and has a wing-like design with sleek features. The Swooshes are placed at the back, and the overlays are refined with perforations. Next to it, PEACEMINUSONE's floral motifs mark the Nike Kwondo 1, while colourful embroideries on the heels perfectly round off the model.

The release date has not yet been confirmed. In one post, he describes the images as "9.1/1:19". Fans therefore suspect a drop on January 9th, 2022, while other followers speculate about the timing of his post ( September 1st, 01:19). You can expect us to stay curious and continue following the matter.

After two "Para-Noise" Nike Air Force 1's, designer and musician G-Dragon is to get his own signature sneaker at Nike. This would be a whole new relationship between Nike and the K-pop icon.

There is not much info on these leaks yet, but insiders claim that the new silhouette will be called "Nike Kwondo 1" and was designed under the fashion label Peaceminusone. There is also already a first possible release date for the sneaker. A drop in the 2021 Christmas season is expected.

Insiders also claim to have already received a first look. The first Nike Kwondo 1 will reportedly have a white upper, but in the future, more colourways might appear. It is also unclear what price tag the sneakers will get, but rumour has it they will cost around 180€.
