In just a few days, Mark Gonzales will release his second adidas Superstar ADV. The Mark Gonzales x adidas Superstar ADV "Black Shmoo" is now on the label's release calendar. We've had an advance look at the model and also reveal some info on this release.
The Skater is a legend, and after his rollout of the "White Shmoo", Mark returns with a contrasting Superstar. Almost every element has been turned inside out colour-wise to create a camouflaged skateboarding version of the sneaker.
The minimalist approach continues with the second sneaker. The upper, as well as the heels and tongues, are made of black premium leather, while the neon-coloured Shmoofoils are made of high-quality pig nubuck leather. In addition, the typical Three Stripes have been swapped back in for a dotted aesthetic that is highly reminiscent of the Stan Smith variant.
