A New "Taxi" Colourway Planned for 2021 - All Info on the New Air Jordan 12

Jordan Brand has finally released the official images of the Air Jordan 12 "Royalty" and confirms the release date for November 13th.

Before we get closer to the previously assumed release date, rumours about a later date have emerged. Allegedly, the debut of the Air Jordan 12 "Royalty" will be postponed to November 13th. We will continue to follow the matter and notify you in case of updates.

The most important thing about an Air Jordan 12 colourway is the contrasting mix of materials and colours between the upper and the mudguard. The Air Jordan 12 "Royalty" uses this with a white upper made of tumbled leather and a black mudguard. Black laces and white tongues then support the yin and yang colourway, while the gold Jumpmans, eyelets and clips highlight the elegant side of the sneaker. Unfortunately, Jordan Brand has not yet confirmed the drop, but the sneakers will reportedly be released on October 9th at Nike and selected retailers.

Released in 1996, the Air Jordan 12 "Taxi" has been reissued and redesigned several times over the years. Now, Jordan Brand seems to have a new colourway of the classic ready, as images of an alternate version have surfaced on the web.

Insider @zsneakerheadz shows the Air Jordan 12 "Royalty" and you can immediately see several similarities, including a white leather upper, contrasting black mudguards and gold details.

However, this version is supposed to have leather on the mudguard instead of the usual tumbled suede. In addition, the "JUMPMAN" tab is also in gold.

Nike has yet to reveal official images or a release date, but rumour has it that the sneakers will be released in the fall on October 9th, 2021.
