South Korea Gets Its Own Nike Dunk Low

Shortly before the National Day of the Liberation of Korea on August 15th, Nike released the official images of the upcoming Nike Dunk Low "Seoul". With this model, the label honours the important day on August 15th, 1945.

The model is made of high-quality leather and stands out with its distinct colourway. Red and blue alternate, with the base in white and the overlays in black. Other details include two different tongue labels, as well as "나이키" Nike embroidery in (Hangul) on the heels and transparent outsoles.

Get ready for a limited South Korea release on August 12th exclusively at Nike SNKRS Korea.

South Korea is a stronghold of sneaker culture, and soon, the East Asian nation will get a special pair that focuses on the flag. The Nike Dunk Low "South Korea" comes with this inspired colour palette and new details, strongly reminiscent of a patriotic sneaker and a perfect successor to Jordan Brand's Air Jordan 3 "Seoul" from 2018.

The upper of the Nike Dunk Low "South Korea" is quite simple with white smooth leather on the sides, toe boxes, and collar. The mudguard, heels, and other overlays are made of black tumbled leather for a perfect balance.

Then, it's all about the details that make this design so exceptional. The right shoe gets blue Swooshes, red heels, as well as red outsoles and a white Nike tag on the tongues. On the other side, we then find alternative colours. Red marks the Swooshes and blue the heels and outsoles, with the flag of South Korea taking the tongues this time.
