Two Selected HBCU Students Present the Air Jordan 1 Mid "Let(Her)Man"

The Air Jordan 1 Mid is currently one of the most sought-after silhouettes, and new colourways push the sneaker further and further forward. Last time, we had a look at the Air Jordan 1 Mid "Let(Her)Man" by the two students Adrian Allen and Darrin Francois.

The college-inspired sneaker will soon be dropped by Nike, as the official pictures have now been released. The Air Jordan 1 Mid "Let(Her)Man" will supposedly drop at Nike SNKRS on November 18th for £105. Check out the pictures in advance and don't miss the next updates.

Jordan Brand has designed a new Air Jordan 1 Mid, and instead of publishing the official pictures of the new colourway, the label has chosen two HBCU students to present the new model.

For years, the sportswear heavyweight Nike has been awarding scholarships to future athletes, artists, and other professional lighting designers. These include students Adrian Allen (right) and Darrin Francois (left), who have received financial support from Nike.

In Jordan Brand's latest interview, the label talks to the two students from historic African-American colleges and universities, while presenting the new Air Jordan 1 Mid, which borrows colours from the members' college jackets usually seen on campus.

The new model is an exclusive sneaker for women and features a coloured upper. The background stays clean, and the overlays use colourful accents like blue, red, or black, while metallic Wings logos on the ankle flaps get a luxurious finish.

The college jackets are also called Letterman Jackets. This is why Nike has chosen the name "Let(Her)Man" (Letterman). Unfortunately, it is still unclear whether the sneakers will drop worldwide on November 18th.
