Luckily, we didn't have to wait too long for new info on the collab, as PUMA already made an official announcement today! The brand new Fenty x PUMA collection awaits us on 15 September at 16 CEST and also includes a brand new silhouette, which Rihanna played a major role in designing.
The fresh model is the so-called PUMA Avanti, which is equipped with high-quality leather and a stylish rubber sole. The silhouette comes in two colourways: a classic "Black/White" and a striking "Aged Silver". The design team was inspired by vintage football boots and gives the sneakers the feel of an indoor shoe with a foldable tongue and a carefully stitched upper. Both Avantis feature signature Fenty and Puma branding on the tongue and midfoot.

PUMA has released a 19-second clip showing Rihanna with a professionally made-up face and styled hair in flowing, oversized dresses. Her colour palette tends towards a soft grey, suggesting that the upcoming shoes in her PUMA collection will also be in similar tones. An exact date for the relaunch of the collection has not yet been announced by either party, but it is likely that the products will be available in time for autumn and winter.

On Wednesday, Rihanna and the German sportswear company announced the return of Fenty x Puma with a succinct message of "She's back". Although details about the revival of the partnership are still largely unknown, Fenty x Puma fans are thrilled to get confirmation! The collaboration between Fenty and Puma has flourished since 2014, when Rihanna joined the company as creative director of womenswear. Over the past few years, Fenty x Puma has conquered New York Fashion Week and released some popular sneakers such as the Fenty x Puma Creeper.
Although the Fenty season has been put on hold due to declining sales, we're excited to see Fenty x Puma make its long-awaited return. We're keeping our fingers crossed that Rihanna's Fenty x Puma comeback will be even more immersive in her vision of style. No launch date has been announced at the moment, but we'll let you know here when new details are known.
