Finally, the legendary sportswear piece for golfers that everyone has been waiting for is here. Today, adidas introduces the first Ultraboost Golf designed specifically for the golf course. Inspired by the original Ultraboost silhouette that debuted in 2015, this version offers golf-related features to complement the fresh style and maximum comfort that Ultraboost is so well known for.
 
To celebrate the launch of the Ultraboost on the golf course, adidas is making this launch special by offering two limited edition colours: the legendary OG Black and Purple in homage to the first Ultraboost, and an all grey version with green accents. A special silver/olive version will be available exclusively for adiClub members from April 13th on adidas.com.
 
"At the heart of the Ultraboost is a silhouette that perfectly blends high-performance and streetwear fashion, and we wanted to bring that to the golf course," says Masun Denison, Director of Global Footwear, adidas Golf. "Although it has only been around for less than a decade, it is an icon within the brand. That's why we've taken the time to only add parts that benefit golfers while preserving the DNA that makes this shoe so great."
 
The adidas golf shoe has been refreshed with specific updates, features an ADIWEAR rubber outsole with roughened lugs for comfortable and grooved performance on and off the course. The outsole also features a polished, anti-clog surface to keep grass and dirt out so traction is always at its best. With a PRIMEKNIT upper and microfibre leather toe overlay, this shoe offers added stability. The upper combines hydrophobic yarns in the forefoot and water-resistant mesh in the rear. A floating cage with crocodile texture and a TPU heel clip provide lateral stability during the swing. The updated EVA footbed is designed specifically for golfers and offers anti-slip and moisture wicking properties. The "Silver/Olive" colourway drops exclusively on April 13th via adidas for adiClub members, while the other sneakers release on April 21st.
