Air Jordan 17 Low Returns: What We Know So Far and What to Expect
The Air Jordan 17 Low model made its debut in 2002 and has since been mostly forgotten by the sneaker community. Rumour has it, however, that the silhouette will return next year. Well-known sneaker leaker Brandon Starr - better known as @zsneakerheadz on Instagram - has released a teaser, but not much is known about it yet. Original styles like the "White/University Blue/Black/Chrome" ensemble are expected to return. However, as with other relaunches of old designs, the low-top Air Jordan 17 model might get the "collaboration treatment" first.
"His Airness" wore the sneaker - designed by Wilson Smith III - during his first season with the Washington Wizards. Both the shoe and his short-lived stint with the Wizards are not particularly memorable, but they are an important part of #23's legacy. Check out the three-piece pack released in 2002 here. Unfortunately, no official pics are out yet, but it's expected to be released via Nike SNKRS in Spring 2024.
