Kevin Durant shows off the Nike KD 16

Just in time for the NBA playoffs, Kevin Durant not only presents us with his new team, but also his latest signature sneaker from Nike for this year's championship run. The Phoenix Suns forward thus enters the race with fresh strength and a new pair of shoes. Whether it will win him the title remains to be seen, but one thing is for sure: the Nike KD 16 will make a splash on the basketball scene.
 
Last night, Durant posted a photo of his unreleased model on Instagram, which he simply captioned "KD16". Three versions of the shoe were pictured - in blue/pink, red/white and black/purple. The KD 16 builds on its predecessor and once again features a low-top upper with reinforced cages in the midfoot and additional panels that wrap around the entire base. KD's signature logo can be seen on the tongue, while a small Nike Swoosh logo appears on the ankle collar. Despite the teaser, no release details for the Nike KD 16 by Swoosh have been announced yet. However, we will keep an eye on these sneakers and let you know if there are any updates.
