Nike Could Drop a Reissue of the Air Max 1 for the 10th Anniversary of Air Max Day

The 10th anniversary celebrations of Air Max Day are upon us, and it looks like Nike is taking the opportunity to release a reissue of the shoe that started it all. Just like the origins of the Air Max range, Nike kicked off Air Max Day with the Air Max 1, releasing the Tinker Hatfield design in the appropriately named "3.26" colourway. Aside from the specific Air Max Day logo branding and Volt-coloured midsole, the pair was an exact copy of the original silhouette launch.

Almost ten years later, the "Air Max 1 23.26" is set to make a comeback, but this time in "Royal". Although no images of the shoe have surfaced yet, it is very likely that the colourway will resemble that of its predecessor. The upper remains true to the original and differs only by the Volt midsole. Here is a possible version of the Nike Air Max 1 "3.26 Royal". We will keep an eye on the rumour mill and keep you updated.
