Update 23.06.2023

Nike has released the official images of the Air Jordan 38 "Fundamental". Particularly noticeable is the graphic of the 1993 Chicago Bulls NBA Championship ring on the right tongue. Release details have not been announced yet, but it is said that the drop is scheduled for August 18.

Original article 04.05.2023

As part of the Sweet 16 game between the UCLA Bruins and the South Carolina Gamecocks, UCLA player Kiki Rice, who became the first NIL athlete to sign with Jumpman in October, made her debut in Jordan Brand's brand new signature shoe, the Air Jordan 38. This was the first time the basketball shoe was seen on the court. The shoe was unveiled in its upcoming "Fundamental" colourway, which will also be available to customers in summer 2023.

Designed in a white, black and siren colour scheme, the model features a mid-cut that has been extended with a white base and black overlay panels on the mudguard and up to the ankle area. Red accents with Jumpman logos on the tongue, heel and insoles complete the design. Although no information on the model's technical specifications or cushioning is available at this time, the Air Jordan 38 is expected to be released on August 18th at select Jordan Brand retailers and on Nike.com.
