1.3 Million Dollars Were Bid by a Buyer for the Air Jordan 12 "Flu Game" at an Auction

Remember that legendary game when Michael Jordan gave it his all despite the flu and led the Chicago Bulls to victory? How about being able to afford a little piece of that history? One lucky bidder at Goldin Auctions did, and bought the rare Air Jordan 12 "Flu Game" at auction for a staggering $1.3 million. The pair was worn by MJ himself during the challenging game and also bears his signature.

The black and red sneakers that Michael Jordan wore during the fifth game of the 1997 NBA Finals between the Chicago Bulls and the Utah Jazz became famous. Despite flu symptoms, he showed an outstanding performance and scored 38 points. He then gave the trainers to the Jazz's former ball boy, Preston Truman, who always provided Jordan with his favourite snack after games. Truman kept the shoes for 15 years before auctioning them off in 2013 for $104,765.
