The Jumpman family knows how to celebrate Michael Jordan's career. And they show this time and again in their sneaker designs - with references to the Six Rings or the MVP 678. But now they have decided on a very special sneaker: They're adding a GS model to the Air Jordan 1 Mid series that draws inspiration from Jordan's legendary Finals triumphs.

The Air Jordan 1 Mid is a tribute to Michael Jordan's impressive performances on the basketball court - a lesson for the next generation of fans. Not only do the shoes commemorate all the NBA championships the Chicago Bulls won under MJ, but they also unite the signature colours of the teams he defeated. These shoes are yet to be released, but we can expect them soon on nike.com and in select shops. In the meantime, take a closer look at the latest images.
