New Balance and Carhartt WIP reunite for the 990v6 "Sculpture Center"

The latest addition to New Balance's acclaimed 990 series - the 990v6 - was unveiled with a steady stream of new colourways and collabos. A frequent guest in the Teddy Santis-led MADE in USA line, it has also been featured in collaborations with WTAPS and Action Bronson. Now, New Balance has teamed up with Carhartt WIP once again, offering the brand the opportunity to customise the 990v6 in their signature colours. Last year, the duo turned to designing the 990v1 with the look of a neighbourhood gym, again serving as inspiration for this pair of "Sculpture Centres".

The Carhartt WIP x New Balance 990v6 "Sculpture Center" has a tight grey mesh at the base that perfectly matches the darker grey accents found on both the heel of the midsection and the "N" logos on either side. Three different shades of brown adorn the overlays, which are made of leather and suede. A military green adorns the tongue label with an eye-catching Carhartt WIP branding in black. Even the lining shows the collaboration with the combined "NB" and "C" logos. You can buy the sneakers from New Balance from 20 October.
