A Shoe that Catches Fire, but not Literally

This new Nike Air Force 1 '07 "Chicago" is not only a hit visually, but also tells an important story of the city of Chicago. This reissue of the classic pays tribute to the city's collaboration in overcoming hardships after the Great Chicago Fire of 1871. This special edition was designed in collaboration with some of the city's best-known sneaker stores, such as LDRS, Notre, RSVP, Saint Alfred, SVRN and Succezz.

The harmonious combination of black and white leather overlays complemented by creamy highlights results in a shoe design of a special kind. A fiery red adorns the side Nike Swoosh and the special cow pattern on the medial side, created in memory of the legendary story of Mrs. O'Leary's cow, which set the city on fire by knocking over its light. The special features of this shoe, such as the Nike Air logo in black, pink and red on the heel cap, make it visible even at night. Another highlight is the Chicago skyline design on the tongue tab and insole. A yellowish-angsty midsole and red outsole area, harmoniously round off the design. With cream laces, this sneaker is definitely worth a look. Be ready on 21 October, the day the Nike Air Force 1 '07 "Chicago" is set to release for $145.
