The Gallery Dept. x Vault by Vans Rowley XLT Collection Has Been Unveiled

Vault by Vans and Gallery Dept. have teamed up again this November to create a five-piece sneaker collection inspired by the late 90s and the skateboarding fashion of the time.

Gallery Dept. is a label founded in 2017 that specialises in vintage clothing and art. Josué Thomas was inspired by the skate style for this collection and took the Rowley XLT from the Vans archive as his inspiration. The Rowley XLT was originally designed in 2001 as a signature shoe for skater Geoff Rowley.

Josué Thomas says:

The Rowley XLT with its two decades of history is becoming a new classic in today's skate culture. It embodies the timeless spirit of Gallery Dept.

The Rowley XLT from Vans offers a very loose fit and a large area to let off steam. The tongue is very thick and the ankle collar is very voluminous. Made from high-quality leather and suede, the trainers naturally feature Gallery Dept. branding and are available in 5 different colours. For example, there is an animal print, a multicolour option or even one with a fire tribal reminiscent of the good old 90s.

The Gallery Dept. x Vault by Vans Rowley XLT collection will be released on 10 November at gallerydept.com and on 11 November at selected Vans retailers.
