Update 25.04.2024

Thanks to insiders, we now have a detailed look at the soon-to-be-released Air Jordan 1 Low OG "Barons". The latest photos reveal an upper material that differs from previous designs. While the base material is completely white and made of leather, the overlays are a subtle grey. Additional contrast is provided by the black Swooshes, the heel tabs and the laces, although the latter are probably interchangeable with other laces included in the scope of delivery. Nike has not yet confirmed the Air Jordan 1 Low OG "Barons", but the sneakers will allegedly drop on 20 July.

The Air Jordan 1 is still one of the most iconic and therefore most popular models in the sneaker game. All the more reason for fans of the silhouette to be delighted when new colourways for the classic are announced. A potential Air Jordan 1 Low OG "Barons" has now been spotted, alluding to Michael Jordan's 30th anniversary with the Birmingham Barons.

This special version of the classic is logically based on the Barons' team colours and therefore comes in a colour mix of white, black and wolf grey. In terms of materials, we can expect an upper made entirely of leather. The base is a clean white colour, while the Swooshes, eyestays, front overlays, tongues, laces and inner lining are a deep black. The smoky grey is then applied to the outsoles, rear overlays, heel caps and branding, completing the Barons' team colours.

The Air Jordan 1 Low OG "Barons" is rumoured to be available from Nike and selected retailers in July 2024 for a price of €140. As the current leaks and mock-ups are still unconfirmed, you should take the current design with a grain of salt. However, as Sneaker Files and zsneakerheadz have almost always been right in the past, we are very confident that the shoe will ultimately look like this. In any case, we'll keep you up to date!
