Nike continues its strategy of reviving iconic basketball silhouettes and brings back the Air Flightposite ‘Metallic Gold’. This model, first designed by Eric Avar in 1999, is known for its innovative blow-moulded composite technology, which is modelled on the human anatomy. It was a favourite with many players and was worn by stars such as Kevin Garnett and Tim Duncan.

The 2024 version stays true to the classic design and features a black neoprene upper and a metallic gold Foamposite shell with concealed lacing system and zip. Swoosh logos can be found on the tongue and heel, while a Metallic Silver carbon fibre plate provides stability and the outsole is made of black rubber.

The Nike Air Flightposite ‘Metallic Gold’ will be released on 30 October 2024.
