The Unheardof x Adidas Rivalry Low ‘Building Bridges’ is a tribute to the Roebling Bridge

The latest collaboration between Unheardof and adidas is the Rivalry Low ‘Building Bridges’, a tribute to the famous Roebling Bridge in Cincinnati. This bridge, which served as inspiration for the Brooklyn Bridge, symbolises the journey of Unheardof founder Phil Lipschutz, who crossed it for the first time on a skateboard and discovered new possibilities. His passion for skateboarding and architecture ultimately led to the founding of Unheardof in 2008.

The design of the sneaker picks up on details of the bridge: The brown upper is reminiscent of the exposed stone structure of the bridge, while the blue suede accents represent the surrounding water. The green, transparent outsole reflects the summery colours of the Ohio River. A playful detail is the Captain Piggy logo on the heel, reminiscent of the founder's travels and discoveries.

In addition to the elegant design, the sale of the limited edition of just 1,000 pairs also serves a good cause, as the proceeds will go to the Children's Home in Cincinnati to support the local community.

The Unheardof x adidas Rivalry Low ‘Building Bridges’ will release on 25 October 2024. Only 1,000 pairs will be produced.
