43einhalb Raffles Off a Mercedes Benz 190E 1.8 for the Start of the Nike Air Max III "Infrared"
In the entire history of sneakers, only a few shoes have developed into true icons. The Nike Air Max III, which has been called Air Max 90 since 2006, is such an icon and still a sneaker that cannot be missing on any shoe shelf. For its 30th anniversary, Nike drops the old "Radiant Red" a.k.a. "Infrared" and is inspired by the original name. Therefore, this version is also called Nike Air Max III.
German retailer 43einhalb celebrates its big anniversary with two more icons that had such a big influence in the '90s. Besides the Nike Air Max III "Infrared”, the German rap legend Kool Savas and the Mercedes Benz 190E were cult figures.
The retailer created the Mercedes Benz 190E 1.8 together with the German car tuning workshop JP Performance. An old-fashioned design resembles the '90s sneaker. Perhaps the coolest feature is the playful Mercedes star on the grill, which has been replaced by a Nike Air Max 90.
Don't Miss the Release of the Nike Air Max III "Infrared" and the Mercedes Benz 190E 1.8
We've seen some heavy advertising gifts from retailers, but a flawless Mercedes Benz 190E 1.8 from the 1990s and tuned by JP Performance? That is just massive! Take a look at the pictures of Kool Savas and the car. We are still waiting for the exact details on the raffle from 43einhalb. The Nike Air Max III "Infrared" has already been confirmed and will drop at Nike and selected retailers on November 28th.
