A 2000 Line Has inspired the Puma Velophasis

Puma has recently unveiled the Velophasis, a new hybrid sneaker that combines elements from Puma's running heritage with modern visual codes from Y2K culture. The Puma Velophasis is inspired by Puma's Complete line, which used revolutionary technologies such as iCELL, e+CELL and EverRide in the 2000s to provide athletes with superior comfort and performance.

Puma hopes to deliver the same benefits with the updated Velophasis, making it an exciting lifestyle sneaker ready to take on the streets! The upper of the new silhouette has been taken straight from the 2000s and updated with a mix of modern and nostalgic design elements.

These include honeycomb mesh, textured panels, and an aggressive shape reminiscent of Puma's Complete line. When it comes to colourways, Puma couldn't be more on-trend. The Bionic model is made up of metallic tones with cream and electric blue inserts, while the Phased takes on the Vaporwave aesthetic with its bright colours and a classic design.
