How a Candy Cane Inspires the adidas Rivalry Low 86

The year 2022 is marked by numerous adidas Forum Lows, but the Three Stripes archive clearly has more to offer. Now, another retro sneaker is leaving the warehouse from Herzogenaurach. Here comes the adidas Rivalry Low 86.

adidas adds to its Rivalry Low 86 lineup with a new colourway inspired by a candy cane, perfect for the current holiday season. First introduced in 1986, the shoe features a white leather upper and red accents on the top of the shoe, lining the eyelets and the classic Three Stripes on the sides.

In addition, the iconic adidas basketball logo adorns the tongues, and Trefoil branding appears on the back of the adidas Rivalry Low 86. Matching the pre-yellowed soles, flat laces come with a cream tone, with red covering the midsole.

The sneaker has not yet appeared on our release calendar, but the adidas Rivalry Low 86 is supposed to drop on December 15th via the adidas online shop. Until then, check out the first pictures here.
