Since its launch in 2014, adidas Spezial has served as a tribute to adidas' rich heritage by combining classic silhouettes with modern design elements under the direction of Gary Aspden. In celebration of its 10th anniversary, the latest collection brings a fusion of Spezial's design DNA through footwear, apparel and accessories that honour the label's roots while looking to the future. 

The footwear collection is extensive and includes seven distinctive silhouettes that pay homage to both archival adidas designs and Spezial's unique aesthetic. The collection includes two iterations of the Gazelle SPZL, inspired by the Pulsebeat SPZL and a vintage adidas clipper. New to the range are the Whitworth SPZL, inspired by 80s runners, the Handball Pro SPZL, based on a lesser-known adidas handball shoe, and the Moston Super SPZL, reminiscent of the adidas Artic. Classics like the Wensley SPZL and the adilette SPZL return, offering a mix of nostalgia and contemporary style.

The footwear is joined by a carefully curated selection of apparel and accessories, led by the iconic Todmorden Smock, which returns in two new colourways. The collection is rounded off with lightweight jackets, tracksuits, a polo shirt, T-shirt and accessories such as the Brinscall bag and Mod Trefoil cap to ensure a comprehensive offering that captures the spirit of Spezial.

The collection will be published on 4 April 2024.

Available in a limited edition, the collection will be sold through adidas CONFIRMED and select retailers, offering sneakerheads the chance to own a piece of adidas Spezial's storied heritage.
