A New Air Jordan 1 "Black Toe Shattered Backboard" in 2021

Although a few months have yet to pass until 2021, the first leaks for the new year are already rolling in and dominating the headlines. Among the next possible drops is a new Air Jordan 1 High to be released with a colourway inspired by the "Shattered Backboard" style. But could Jordan Brand really drop another Shattered Backboard colourway?

Jordan Brand appears in many release calendars. This is probably due to the many iterations the design team is currently creating. Various silhouettes as well as some Air Jordan 1 Lows and Mids continue to fill the shelves at retailers, and now a new Shattered Backboard version is about to be released.

The release could be possible though, as Jordan Brand has been reviving the archive quite a bit lately. On August 17th, for example, official pictures of an Air Jordan 1 Mid were uploaded, and the model is getting the legendary "Banned" style. Therefore, a reinterpretation of the classic "Shattered Backboard" would be totally conceivable.

We assume a classic white leather base as well as a white tongue and toe box. The strong contrast is provided by the black hits on the overlays and Swoosh, with "Starfish Orange" on the ankle straps, heel, and outsole rounding off the overall design.

Should the Air Jordan 1 "Black Toe Shattered Backboard" drop next year, the rush will probably be quite huge again. The pair will probably drop at Nike and selected retailers.
