A Revolution in Golf Shoe Design: adidas MC87 4D

The adidas MC87 4D is inspired by the classic styles of the 80s and is similar to the popular adidas MC80. The Tiverton, an adidas model from 1987, served as a template for the upper of the MC87 4D. The upper is made of high-quality, water-repellent leather, which offers the golfer a classic look and additional comfort. To further enhance the design, adidas has incorporated the world's first high-performance 4D midsole, which is made from light and oxygen. This is the first time adidas has integrated a 4D midsole into a golf shoe.

Based on years of athlete data, the individual component construction of the adidas 4D midsole has been precisely tuned for controlled energy return. The intricate grid structure, printed with light and oxygen and created by Digital Light Synthesis, gives the shoe sole a futuristic design. Responsive cushioning absorbs pressure from every angle and returns energy to the foot while supporting movement where it is needed most.

In addition to the comfortable 4D midsole, the MC87 4D also features a rubberised spikeless outsole with lugs for added traction and grip as you head to the golf course. The adidas MC87 4D is available in limited edition on adidas.co.uk, in the adidas App and at selected retailers.
