A Tribute to the Basketball Giant in the Colours of the Lakers: Nike Air Force 1 "Kobe Bryant"

Nike plans to release a special edition of the Air Force 1 in honour of Kobe Bryant, inspired by the Player Exclusive (PE) models from his 2002-2003 sneaker free agency period. Vanessa Bryant has confirmed the release, which will feature the iconic Lakers colours of white, yellow and purple and the Kobe logo.

The wait for Kobe Brand's return in August is getting more and more exciting. Fans of the late basketball legend can now look forward to an unexpected addition - the new Nike Air Force 1 "Kobe", which is to be launched next year. This pays tribute to the Black Mamba and its colours are reminiscent of the popular Lakers team. Sneaker accounts @zsneakerheadz and @sneakerfiles have confirmed that the upcoming release will bear the legendary Lakers palette. Although the exact design is still under wraps, it is rumoured that the shoe will resemble the exclusive GS release from 2009 pictured above.

As a special edition, it is said to celebrate personal details and celebrate Kobe Bryant's unforgettable career. According to reports, the sneaker will feature the legendary basketball player's emblem as well as his famous back number "24" - these details will be featured on the side and tongue and serve as a heartfelt tribute to the basketball giant. Nike has not yet confirmed the information, but the Air Force 1 "Kobe Bryant" is expected to launch in the summer of 2024, joining a line of sneakers inspired by and dedicated to outstanding athletes.
