adidas celebrates Homecoming season by paying tribute to Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCUs) with a special Crazy 8 Low collection. Five institutions-Alabama State, Alcorn State, Grambling State, Prairie View A&M and Arkansas Pine Bluff-each receive their own exclusive colourway.

The Crazy 8 Low, a basketball silhouette originally from Kobe Bryant's first signature shoe, has been reinterpreted for this collection. Each pair is designed in the colours of the respective school, with leather uppers, patented Three Stripes and embroidered school mascots on the tongues. Of particular note are Alabama State's striking black, white and yellow combination and Alcorn State's mix of purple and yellow hues.

The adidas Crazy 8 Low HBCU collection will release on 1 October 2024, just in time for Homecoming celebrations. Each pair will be available for €120 on Adidas.com
