adidas Drops an Ocean-Themed Ultra Boost with Parley

adidas has many iconic silhouettes to its name, but only a few have made as big an impact on streetwear culture as the popular adidas Ultra Boost. After releasing a few Climacool variants, the Herzogenaurach-based brand is back with another alternative version. For this, adidas is teaming up with Parley for the Oceans to drop this adidas Ultra Boost 5.0 "Pulse Mint".

By working with Parley, adidas reduces the environmental impact of the adidas Ultra Boost 5.0 "Pulse Mint" by using a high-performance Primeknit yarn. This material is in fact 50% recycled polyester and 50% Parley Ocean Plastic.

The oceanic theme is then achieved through the blue hits in "Pulse Mint/Pulse Mint/Sky Rush", which hit the upper as well as the sole and lining. Characteristic cages in the rear are then made of sustainable plastic and are additionally decorated with an "ultraboost" logo.
