An Air Jordan 5 WMNS "Mars for Her" May Drop Next Year

Check out the new images of the Air Jordan 5 "Mars For Her". They show a bright red colourway with reflective tongue and a sewn-on 23 on the outside of the Jordan.

The new year is almost here, and with the new year comes the unveiling of Nike's new plans for the next few seasons. Reportedly, the sports giant will be focusing on the Air Jordan 5 and dropping it in several women-exclusive colourways.

Part of that is this Air Jordan 5 WMNS "Mars for Her." It resembles the AJ5 "Raging Bull" colourway in that a striking red covers the entire suede upper, although here the hue is slightly lighter. Other differences include yellowed mesh and fiery hits on the midsoles. 

So far, however, we're still eagerly awaiting the explanation for the "Mars for Her" moniker. It is believed that the Air Jordan 5 WMNS "Mars for Her" is a reference to Spike Lee's character "Mars Blackmon", who was an important part of the original marketing campaign of the Air Jordan 5. 

Jordan Brand has yet to confirm the pair, but insiders claim the Air Jordan 5 WMNS "Mars for Her" will be released as early as January 14th. Look for more info in the future here and on the Grailify app.
