Anthony Edwards' First Signature Sneaker from adidas: the adidas AE1

Anthony Edwards has teamed up with adidas Basketball to launch his first signature shoe collection called adidas AE 1. The "With Love" edition features an eye-catching "Acid Orange/Core Black-Acid Red" color scheme and will release on December 16. These shoes feature a revolutionary Boost and Lightstrike combination in the midsole.

Anthony Edwards' connection to Atlanta runs deep, so it's no surprise that adidas chose his hometown as the starting point for his very first signature sneaker, the adidas AE1. The sleek, speed-oriented silhouette reflects the young phenom's play on the court, offering a combination of agility and smoothness that will excite players of all abilities. From his time at Holy Spirit Preparatory School to his success at the University of Georgia, Edwards has proven he's a force to be reckoned with - and the adidas AE1 is the perfect embodiment of his passionate dedication to the sport.
 
The flexible Knit Base Layer and Split-Tongue construction provide more flexibility for multi-directional movements and offer excellent ventilation. However, the highlight of the shoe is undoubtedly the parametric precision-welded TPU surface that keeps Edwards' movements under control. The shoe has a top package, including a true Boost cushioning system and perfectly placed Herringbone blades that increase grip on the court. As the new face of adidas Basketball, Edwards has already made the shoe a favourite with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
