ASICS continues its series of creative collaborations in 2024, this time with the Japanese label Doublet under the direction of Masayuki Ino. The special GEL-Kayano 20 collaboration is inspired by an everyday object - cardboard boxes. This concept is brought to life by the Tyvek material, which mimics the texture of cardboard and visibly ages over time, giving the sneaker a changing look. Wave-like patterns reminiscent of cardboard cross-sections further reinforce the concept.
