ASICS GEL-LYTE V "Ancient Coin" Pack is inspired by ancient coins

ASICS will soon launch the new GEL-LYTE V "Ancient Coin" Pack in the colors "Bengal Orange" and "Seafoam". The running shoes are inspired by ancient coins and are a successful addition to the already released prints, which had various japanese flowers as their theme. The titular details are very subtle, but complement the sneakers perfectly. Here's all the info.

The shoe was first released in 1993 and has been a staple of the Japanese footwear brand ever since. The upcoming pairs have perforated leather on the toe and side panels with smooth suede overlays above and on the heel molds. The laces are embellished with antique coin-operated dubraes. Brand details include signature tiger stripes and ASICS embroidery. Rounding out the look are foam-cushioned midsoles, some of which are speckled at the heel, and two-tone outsoles. Unfortunately, no release date has been set yet, but the sneaker will reportedly be released by ASICS in the coming weeks.
