atmos' and adidas' ZX 8000 G-SNK "TJ" Is Inspired by a Sample from 2012

adidas is deepening its partnership with atmos further this year. The German sporting goods manufacturer and the Japanese streetwear brand are releasing a vibrant ZX 8000 G-SNK "TJ" inspired by a vintage sample pair from 2012. This has now been confirmed by atmos with the first pics of the sneaker.

The sample, which was designed 10 years ago, never made it into mass production. The name "TJ" refers to Till Jagla. He was the Head of Energy at adidas HQ and now runs his own company, Flowers for Society.

It is assumed that the atmos x adidas ZX 8000 G-SNK "TJ" has a light upper made of grey nylon. Then, a light blue hue runs across the front and rear overlays, which are refined with snakeskin patterns and reflective details. Pink then provides accents in between, used on the brandings and heel tabs.

Exclusive Release of the atmos x adidas ZX 8000 G-SNK "TJ" in Japan

So far, the release of the atmos x adidas ZX 8000 G-SNK "TJ" has only been confirmed for selected regions. In Japan, the shoes will be released on May 14th for ¥16,000.
