Clarks is a traditional shoe brand that has stood for quality, comfort and timeless design since it was founded in 1825. The British company was founded by the brothers Cyrus and James Clark and began with the manufacture of sheepskin slippers. Over the decades, Clarks has undergone an impressive development and made a name for itself worldwide.

One of Clarks' best-known models is the Desert Boot, which was designed in 1950 by Nathan Clark, a grandson of the founders. Inspired by the footwear worn by British officers in Cairo, the Desert Boot is characterised by its simplicity, high-quality suede and hard-wearing crepe sole.

In addition to the Desert Boot, Clarks has launched other iconic models such as the Wallabee, which enjoy cult status in hip-hop and reggae culture in particular. These shoes combine unique design with unrivalled comfort.

Clarks attaches great importance to innovation and sustainability. The company relies on environmentally friendly materials and technologies to minimise its ecological footprint. At the same time, the brand remains true to its heritage and combines traditional craftsmanship with modern design.

Through its collaboration with Pokémon, Clarks has created a unique link between traditional footwear craftsmanship and modern pop culture. The collections, which will debut in 2022, combine Clarks' iconic designs with the playful world of Pokémon.

One highlight of the collaboration is the legendary Wallabee, which has been given a new, creative twist with details such as Pikachu silhouettes and themed embroidery. Another highlight is the reinterpretation of the Torhill model. The designs are inspired by popular Pokémon such as Pikachu, Glumanda, Schiggy and Bisasam. Bright suede and pixelated embroidery bring the characters to life, while numbered details on the heel give each shoe its own individual character.
