The Nike Dunk Low has come a long way since its debut 37 years ago, but the sneaker reached a new milestone when Nike made a scrap version from surplus materials. In doing so, the sporting goods manufacturer aims to reduce the carbon footprint on our world. Now, Nike is planning a new colourway in "Navy/Black".
Who would have thought that a Nike Dunk Low made of leftovers could look so good. Here, the Nike Dunk Low Scrap "Navy/Black" has an upper made of mesh inserts and leather scraps. The former is in blue and comprises the base of the shoe. In addition, the lightweight materials are the brightest on the upper.
The leather overlays are given a navy blue or black hue, with black being more dominant. The dark Swooshes, toebox, and black lining darken the colourway of the Nike Dunk Low Scrap "Navy/Black" considerably. Finally, a white midsole and a colour-matched outsole follow suit.
