Coming Soon: Nike ISPA Collection 2020
The Beaverton-based brand creates new silhouettes, great collections and massive colourways almost every month. Nike's works are often very unusual and unique. The ISPA series, most especially, is very individual and experimental.
The shoes look very technical and always dare to try out new and unconventional themes. But what does "ISPA" actually mean? What do the four letters stand for? Above all, where do the different signs come from? The ISPA line, which stands for Improvise, Scavenge, Protect and Adapt, uses the individual letters of four different silhouettes:
I = Airmax
S = Shox
P = Presto
A = Vapormax
These are the four models that are combined into one sneaker.
Now, let's take a look at Nike's latest ISPA collection in 2020.
Nike ISPA Road Warrior
Before that, it was not clear that several silhouettes would appear all at once. The Nike ISPA Road Warrior appeared first and inspired sneakerheads with its futuristic style. Its shape, lines and aesthetic are very loud and aggressive. There are double Air pods in the front and a curved cushioning at the back that absorbs every step. The release date is supposedly on July 10th at Nike and selected retailers.
Nike ISPA Drifter
This is another sporty sneaker for the city runner. The Nike ISPA Drifter also features a split toe and a lightweight upper. This model replaces the punched-out sole unit with a lightweight, breathable and reactive ZoomX foam. The shoes also seem to use an interesting lacing system. Long straps and lace locks tie the Nike ISPA Drifter. The release is probably on September 1st.
Nike ISPA Flow
The Nike ISPA Flow might be more for everyday use. A neutral shape as well as the usual lacing system doesn't really stand out from the new collection and reminds us more of a classic sneaker with modern colours. Nonetheless, we love the high shape and the breathable upper. The Nike ISPA Flow is scheduled to hit the shelves on August 13th.
Nike ISPA OverReact FK
We have only recently seen the Nike ISPA OverReact FK on the net. This model has a massive sole unit and double React cushioning for a better reactive feel. Additionally, Nike adds a comfortable Flyknit upper. The snug-fitting upper feels great and is very light, while the straps’ lacing system adds further grip and stability. The Nike ISPA OverReact FK will probably be released on July 9th.
Nike ISPA OverReact FK Sandal
Are you still looking for sandals? The Nike ISPA OverReact FK Sandal is obviously an evolution of the Nike ISPA OverReact FK and has the same shape and aesthetic of a sandal. But you don't want to miss the comfort it brings. The shoes come with a double React foam and a light upper material. Supposedly, the Nike ISPA OverReact FK Sandal will be released on July 31st.
