Converse x Isabel Marant: A Parisian touch for the iconic Chuck 70

TLDR: Converse and Isabel Marant present a reinterpretation of the Chuck 70 with Parisian flair. The collection will launch exclusively in Isabel Marant stores on 11 September 2024, followed by a wider release on Converse.com on 12 September, with prices ranging from €140 to €190.

For the first time, Converse and renowned French designer Isabel Marant are collaborating to launch a unique footwear collection that combines Marant's effortless elegance with Converse's classic Chuck 70 silhouettes. The collection, which launches in September 2024, combines new and classic styles with a touch of Parisian chic and non-conformity.

At the centre of the collection is the brand new Chuck 70 Wedge, a model that takes up Isabel Marant's pioneering role in the sneaker wedge trend of the 2010s. The wedge features a hidden 6.35 cm heel that literally ‘upgrades’ the classic Chuck 70 look.

In addition to the Chuck 70 Wedge, the collection also includes Isabel Marant's reinterpretation of the Chuck 70 as a high-top and low-top version. These sneakers feature a frayed cotton and polyester mix upper, colourful laces and translucent outsoles that elevate the classic Chuck style with Marant's unmistakable aesthetic. Each shoe also features a canvas overlay and the Isabel Marant logo.
